GENERAL FABRICATION LABOR
CPS Houston is seeking dedicated and skilled laborers to join our team in a fast-paced fabrication facility. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge and experience with hand tools, power tools, and assembly line processes. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our production line and maintaining high-quality standards in our products.
Responsibilities
Operate various hand tools safely and efficiently, ideally, grinders.
Assist in the fabrication shop and painting area.
Assist in the assembly line processes, ensuring that all products meet quality standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work area within the warehouse or factory setting.
Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve production efficiency.
Perform routine inspections of equipment and report any issues to supervisors.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a pipe yard is a plus
Knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
Proficiency in using grinders, hand tools, power tools, and assembly line machinery.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting heavy materials as required.
