We are looking for an experienced Spray Technician specializing in fertilizer chemical application. Candidates must be familiar with applying various fertilizers, herbicides and fungicides to turf and landscape beds on residential properties; have strong communication skills; and be committed to meeting deadlines.

Spray Technician Job Responsibilities:
Mix, load and perform chemical and fertilizer applications using spray machines (such as Z-Spray or Pathfinder), large pressure sprayers and/or backpack sprayers
Schedule and coordinate pest control activities
Respond to trouble calls and work with maintenance team to resolve pest management issues
Train maintenance staff in pest and weed control safety and fertilizer application
Complete job-related paperwork and maintain records on chemical applications in compliance with Federal and Texas Department of Agriculture regulations
Drive/operate work truck and trailer
Safely maintain chemical storage area and work site
Monitor landscape health and care needs for clients, diagnosing primary turf problems and identifying pests for turf and ornamental plantings

Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of experience in chemical/fertilization application
Current Commercial Pesticide Applicator License with the State of Texas (minimum 3 years licensed; in good standing)
Valid driver’s license is required
Strong communication skills
