Job Description: We are seeking a proficient and experienced Powder Coat Painter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying powder coatings to a variety of surfaces and ensuring a high-quality finish. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a steady hand, and experience in the painting industry.
Responsibilities:
Help when needed to prepare surfaces for powder coating by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary.
Operate powder coating equipment to apply powder coatings to parts and surfaces.
Ensure proper coating thickness and finish quality by inspecting work visually
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage and handling of coatings and equipment.
Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with the powder coating process.
Assist in other areas of the shop as needed.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Powder Coat Painter or in a similar painting role.
Proficiency in operating powder coating equipment and related tools.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Good understanding of safety procedures and best practices in a painting/coating environment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks.
