We are hiring 2 detail-oriented- Shipping clerks for our client's team.
Locations are: Pearland and South Houston
Pay rates: $14.50-$16.00 (Depending on client and qualifications)
The ideal candidates will have experience with shipping and packaging procedures and familiarity with warehouse operations.
Day shift: Monday to Friday with Overtime
Experience:
Forklift: 2 years (Preferred)
UPS and FEDEX: 2 years (Required)
Shipping: 2 years (Required)
Language- English (Required)
Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents, and maintain accurate records
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including packing items securely for transport
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory and shipments
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks, RF scanners, and forklifts to move materials
- Perform regular stock checks and assist in maintaining organized warehouse space
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow in shipping processes
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a shipping and receiving role preferred such as FedEx & UPS
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and MRP software-Computer Literacy
- Ability to operate equipment such as pallet jacks, RF scanners, and forklifts safely
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Knowledge of e-commerce shipping practices is a plus
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Job Types: Full-time, Temp-to-hire Pay: From $14.50-$16.00/per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week + with OT
