We’re hiring hardworking individuals to join our tire recycling team located near Hobby Airport. Our company collects used tires, creates tire bales with a baling machine, and sells or recycles them.
Job Responsibilities:
- Offload trucks delivering used tires
- Operate or assist with tire baling equipment
- Organize and move tires around the yard
- Perform other general labor duties as needed
Requirements:
- Able to perform physically demanding labor (lifting up to 50 pounds)
- Comfortable working outdoors under the cover of a warehouse roof
- Reliable and motivated to work full weeks
- Spanish-speaking preferred (bilingual is a big plus in the tire industry)
- Positive Attitude, ability to work well with others
- Work authorization in the US
Compensation:
- $750/week, based on approximately 60 hours/week
- 1099 Contractor (independent contractor)
- Initial 3-month term with potential for permanent placement
