Job Overview:
We are seeking a hands-on Heat Treatment Technician with mechanical aptitude to join our team and work in our warehouse. This role goes beyond general warehouse duties and includes servicing and repairing heat treatment equipment returning from rental, performing maintenance on resistance and induction units, and supporting light fabrication or manufacturing tasks related to on-site heat treatment systems.
Responsibilities:
- Willingness to learn about industrial heat treating equipment
- Receive and send out rental equipment
- Maintain equipment as its coming back from rentals.
- Use order pickers to gather products based on orders
- Pack and prepare orders for shipment
- Some manufacturing skills or experience would be good.
- Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment
Skills:
- Experience in a warehouse setting
- Proficiency in order fulfillment processes
- Ability to handle materials safely and efficiently
- Familiarity with heavy lifting and materials handling
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and procedures
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Previous experience as a warehouse supervisor is a plus
- Forklift operation
- Skills using hand tools or l equipment
