Order Labeler
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to fill the role of Order Labeler in our warehouse. As an Order Labeler, you will be responsible for accurately labeling and identifying incoming and outgoing orders within the warehouse environment. Your primary duties will include affixing labels to packages, verifying information on labels for accuracy, and ensuring that all orders are properly labeled for shipment or storage. The primary responsibility of this role is to accurately label and tag products, ensuring proper identification and organization within the warehouse. Your keen attention to detail and commitment to quality will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and accuracy of our operations. Responsibilities:
Receive orders and review packing lists to determine labeling requirements.
Generate or print labels with the necessary information such as item code, quantity, destination, and other relevant details.
Affix labels to packages using appropriate labeling equipment or tools.
Verify the accuracy of information on labels before applying them to packages.
Communicate with other warehouse staff to ensure proper labeling procedures are followed.
Monitor and maintain label inventory to ensure an adequate supply is always available.
Accurately match numbers & letters.
Accurately stage and sort products for loading.
Open and closes dock doors.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Sorts and places parts in racks or other designated areas.
Stacks cardboard boxes and pallets.
Move materials within the warehouse.
Comply with all safety requirements.
Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system.
Quality control.
Ensure damaged products are identified and removed when received.
Complete daily logs.
Communicate with associates from other shifts.
Attach identifying tags to containers or mark them with identifying information.
Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments and material and equipment needs.
Record numbers of units handled and moved, using daily production sheets or work tickets.
Assemble product containers and crates, using hand tools and precut lumber.
Pack containers and re-pack damaged containers.
Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to production workers or assembly line.
Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves or conveys orders to the packing station or shipping department.
Weighs or counts items for distribution within the plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
Use a computer to enter records.
Prepares parcels for mailing
Maintains inventory records.
Other projects and tasks assigned by supervisor.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a warehouse or shipping environment preferred.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Basic computer skills for generating and printing labels.
Physical ability to lift and move.
Must be a US Citizen.
Must have a neat and clean appearance.
Must be able to communicate and speak efficiently and clearly.
Must be a Team Player, responsible, efficient, and honest.
Must be able to work in a face-paced environment yet pay attention to detail.
Must have reliable transportation, this does not include the Metro bus system.
Must be 18 years.
Bilingual a plus.
Must have an entrepreneurial attitude.
Monday through Friday, 9 am to 6 pm, some shifts on the weekend, this is optional, and overtime is available.
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening test, absolutely no felonies accepted and must have been cleared for the past 7 years, no exceptions, if you are not able to, please do not apply.

Qualifications:
No prior warehouse experience required but preferred.
Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required.
Ability to work independently, customer service, dealing with others, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexible, excellent with numbers and time management skills required.
Flexible work overtime is preferred.
Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions is required.
Regular, predictable, and full attendance is an essential function of the job.

The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and to reach with hands and arms. The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 20 to 50lbs pounds.
