We are a small law firm in California. We need to take five (5) deposition in Houston Texas in a federal lawsuit predicated on criminal violations of California law and the Lanham Act with respect to false advertising and the practice of law.
We are looking for a Texas licensed former criminal prosecutor with significant experience taking depositions of witnesses accused on criminal violations.
We have five (5) depositions over the week of April 8 to April 12.
We would like to pay $6000 for an attorney to conduct all five depositions on a flat fee, including prep time.
However, if we find the right candidate, we may be willing to pay more. The case is 3:17-cv-07303-MMC.
The facts center around the unauthorized practice of law by a company started individuals who were charged by the State of Texas Attorney General for operating a fake online high school diploma mill, which has been reincarnated into a trademark filing website with their former attorney in the diploma mill case.
