We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated attorney to join our legal team as a First-Party Insurance Claim Attorney on the plaintiff side.
In this role, you will be responsible for representing individuals and businesses in pursuing insurance claims. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of insurance law, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to advocate effectively on behalf of our clients.
Case Management: Handle a caseload of first-party insurance claims from inception to resolution.
Client Consultation: Provide legal advice to clients regarding their rights and options in first-party insurance claims. Maintain open communication with clients, keeping them informed about case developments.
Negotiation and Settlement: Negotiate with insurance companies to secure fair and favorable settlements for clients. Draft demand letters and negotiate terms that align with clients' best interests.
Litigation: Prepare and file lawsuits when necessary, and represent clients in court proceedings. Conduct discovery, depositions, and other litigation-related activities.
Collaboration: Collaborate with other attorneys, legal professionals, and experts to strengthen case arguments. Work closely with support staff to ensure smooth case management and client communication.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
3. Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
4. Proven ability to manage a caseload independently.
