In need of a part-time Paralegal with Insurance Defense experience. Candidate must be dependable, highly organized, the ability to multi-task to support multiple attorneys in a fast paced environment. Have experience in ordering records, including follow-up, sorting, and assessing issues with great attention to detail. You must possess the following skillset; excellent written and verbal communication, be a good team player with a good a work ethic.
This position is NOT a remote position. The position requires a 3 day work week; the office hours are 8am to 5pm - Monday thru Friday - The 3 days have YTD - let's decide together!
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Prepare Trial Notebooks for Litigation
Maintain docket on Firm Calendar / Keep track of current and upcoming Deadlines,
Draft and Review of Legal Documents in fine detail
eFiling Motions, Petitions and Subpoenas.
Order and Review Medical Records,
Prepare Exhibits for Workers' Compensation claims (insurance carrier)
Qualifications:
4yr Degree OR Paralegal Certificate Required
2yrs.+ Legal Office Experience
Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills
Be Pleasant, Team Player, Dependable, Efficient and Organized
Ability to Prioritize Work to Meet Deadlines on Firm Calendar
Work with a sense of Urgency to Produce Professional Quality Work
Format Legal Documents and Correspondence Professionally
Professional Phone Etiquette is a Must!
