Civil and family practice seeking legal assistant with legal experience and knowledge of surrounding counties court rules and filing requirements. Candidate must have the ability to multi-task and work independently.
Duties could include basic office skills all the way to potentially drafting pleadings, e-filing, letters and discovery; Client intake; Filing documents in county records; Calendaring hearings; Answering telephones; and contact with Courts regarding hearings.
Qualifications: A minimum of one year experience is a bonus; Proficient in Word; e-filing, Network computing, Strong typing skills; Well organized and able to multi-task; Excellent verbal/written communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; Professional, personable and able to interact with clients; Punctual; and Dress professionally. E-filing experience is mandatory.
