Personal injury law firm seeks an experienced case manager/paralegal for our office. The ideal candidate must be self-driven, have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, have a professional appearance, have a good work ethic and have the ability to provide our clients with outstanding customer service.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Sending correspondences to insurance companies
- Verifying insurance coverages and liability determinations
- Tracking the progress of cases
- Reviewing and requesting medical bills and records
- Updating clients and keeping them abreast of their case status
- Reviewing demand packages and submitting them to insurance companies
- Handling all other matters that may be necessary for proper case management prior to litigation
The ideal candidate must possess the following:
- Prior experience working at a law firm and/or medical bills and records experience
- Superior attention to detail, organizational skills, and work ethic
- Ability to multitask and perform well under pressure
- Pleasant demeanor for client interaction
- Excellent customer service skills and telephone etiquette
- Superior computer skills
The following are preferred but not required:
- Bilingual
- Strong personal injury work history
- Knowledge of insurance claims and processes
Hours: Monday- Friday 9:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m.
Salary: TBD
