Social Media and Digital Marketing Manager (Part-Time)

Are you a digital marketing expert with a passion for social media, web design, and lead generation? We're looking for a dynamic and creative Social Media and Digital Marketing Manager to join our team on a part-time basis. In this hybrid role, you'll manage our online presence, develop and maintain our website, create and curate content, source leads to drive business growth, and work on multiple projects to support various aspects of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

Social Media Management:

o Create and Design Social Media Pages: Set up and design all necessary social media pages to establish a cohesive and professional brand presence across platforms.

o Content Creation: Develop tailored content for multiple social media platforms, including videos, GIFs, infographics, and blogs, ensuring each piece is optimized for the specific platform.

o Engage with Audience: Actively respond to comments, messages, and customer queries to build strong and positive relationships with our audience.

o Content Curation: Research and share relevant third-party content that resonates with your audience and keeps them engaged.

o Post Scheduling: Schedule social media posts ahead of time to ensure content is consistently published at optimal times, even during off-hours.

Website Development and Maintenance:

o WordPress Management: Create, update, and maintain our WordPress website, ensuring it is user-friendly, responsive, and aligns with our brand identity.

o Website Optimization: Ensure the website is optimized for search engines (SEO) and provides a seamless user experience across all devices.

o Content Management: Regularly update the website with fresh content, including blogs, product updates, and company news.

Lead Sourcing and Generation:

o Lead Sourcing: Identify and source high-quality leads through various digital channels, including social media, email marketing, and online directories.

o Lead Nurturing: Develop and execute strategies to nurture leads through the sales funnel, from initial contact to conversion.

o Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and analyze lead generation efforts to optimize performance and maximize ROI.

Strategy Development:

o Social Media Strategy: Create and implement social media campaigns to promote new products, sales, or other company initiatives.

o Website Strategy: Develop strategies to drive traffic to the website, enhance user engagement, and increase conversions.

Analytics and Performance Monitoring:

o Social Analytics: Regularly monitor and analyze social media performance to identify what’s working and what’s not, ensuring resources are allocated effectively.

o Website Analytics: Use tools like Google Analytics to track website performance, user behavior, and conversion rates.

o ROI Measurement: Set measurable goals for campaigns and track performance using analytics tools. Prove the return on investment for each campaign.

Customer Service and Engagement:

o Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service through social media, responding promptly to inquiries and issues, even during off-hours.

o Community Management: Build and maintain a loyal community around our brand through proactive engagement and content sharing.

Project Management:

o Work on Multiple Projects: Manage and contribute to various projects across the business, ensuring alignment with our overall marketing and business objectives.

Flexibility and Adaptability:

o Trend Awareness: Stay updated on the latest trends in social media, digital marketing, and SEO to ensure our strategies remain current and effective.

o Adaptability: Be open to trying new approaches, tools, and features as digital platforms evolve.

Work Environment:

This is a part-time, hybrid position with 20 to 25 hours a week. You will work four days remotely and one day onsite at our office in the Greenspoint area of Houston, TX.

The position pays $20 per hour.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Social Media Manager, Digital Marketing Manager, or similar role.

Strong skills in WordPress website creation, maintenance, and optimization.

Proficiency in lead sourcing and nurturing strategies.

Excellent writing and communication skills.

Proficiency in social media platforms, tools, and analytics.

Experience with SEO best practices and digital marketing analytics.

Ability to create visually appealing content, including basic graphic design and video editing skills.

Strong understanding of customer service principles in a digital context.

Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously is a plus.
