We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machinist responsible to Set-up proves out first part and operates CNC Lathe and Vertical Mill (if needed) to fabricate parts
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings
Determine machine operations, finished workpiece dimensions.
Setup and operate CNC Turning Centers & Vertical Machining Centers, prove out first part and inspect completed parts.
Stack and load finished items.
Setup future jobs while machines are operating.
Measure dimensions of finished workpieces to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments, templates, and fixtures.
Maintain machines and remove/replace broken or worn machine tools, using hand tools.
Verify workpieces are properly lubricated and cooled during machine operation. Clean machines, tooling and/or parts.
Maintain a clean work area; utilize all required PPE and participate in all safety, quality
