A manufacturing company in Northwest Houston is seeking a High Reach Forklift Operator. The ideal candidate must be organized, detail-oriented, and be proficient operating standup and sit-down forklifts. You must have the ability to move bundles of materials 12-14’ wide up on 20-30 feet high racks. Additional duties include maintaining inventory and other warehouse tasks as needed.
Requirements:
-Experience with standup forklifts (Raymond experience preferred)
-Experience with sitdown forklifts
-Move 12-14’ wide bundles around the warehouse and stack up on 20-30’ high racks
-Experience loading / unloading materials from trucks
-Ability to lift/push/carry items up to 50 lbs
-Capability to stand and walk for extended periods
-Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly
Responsibilities:
-Inspect items for quality and report any discrepancies
-Safely operate the forklift
-Ensure that products are put in their proper place
-Maintain a clean and organized workspace
-Adhere to safety protocols and company policies
