Overview
PriorityWorkforce is seeking a dedicated and skilled Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse by managing inventory, operating heavy equipment, and supporting the overall logistics process. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
Operate various types of warehouse equipment such as reach trucks and sit-down forklift to load and unload materials safely.
Operate manual and electric pallet jacks.
Maintain an organized and clean warehouse environment to ensure safety and efficiency.
Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to manage inventory levels and stock locations.
Perform regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any mechanical issues.
Build pallets and prepare shipments for delivery while adhering to safety protocols.
Participate in inventory counts and assist with the management of stock records.
Experience
Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is a must, including reach trucks and sit-down forklift.
Mechanical knowledge is beneficial for troubleshooting equipment issues.
Experience working under a warehouse supervisor or in warehouse management roles is an advantage.
Ability to work collaboratively with team members while maintaining individual productivity standards.
