Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Manual Machinist at Lowrance Machine located in Houston, TX. The Manual Machinist will be responsible for machining components per print/specification using manual equipment. This role involves operating and maintaining manual machines, ensuring quality standards are met, and collaborating with the production team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties or responsibilities may be assigned.
- Sets up and run manual lathes and conversational Bridgeport style mills.
- Reviews drawings, sketches, or sample part with Supervisor to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work piece.
- Sequence of operations, and setup requirements.
- Verifies conformance of finished work piece to specifications and documents findings on a dimensional report as needed.
- Maintains material traceability to shop work orders and accurate records such as job travelers, dimensional data sheets, and time logs.
- Follows safety and security procedures and reports potentially unsafe conditions to appropriate personnel.
- Expected to clean and organize work area daily during normal hours of operation.
- Expected to work 40 hours per week during normal hours of operation unless otherwise specified by management.
- Qualifications Required:
- Must be Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must have a minimum of 7 years experience
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be able to communicate in English
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical
- Pay Frequency: Bi-Weekly
