We are currently seeking to add a Make Ready Technician to our team.
Responsibilities and Requirements:
Responsible for all aspects of signage readiness prior to installation.
Inspects, inventories, wraps, crates all signage, fasteners, and components to make ready for installation.
Labels & stages all installation templates & patterns included with each project.
Assists all department team members as needed to facilitate installation requirements.
Responsible for protecting all sign components during assembly, storage, and preparing for safe transit.
Populate 12v LED lighting, all wiring, power supplies and electrical enclosures.
Tracks inventory levels for all common supplies related to installation & electrical readiness.
Must be organized, thorough and accurate with a strong attention to detail.
Maintains regularly updated scheduled tasks in Teams.
Must have a high level of quality and care in their work.
Possess a high-level ability to manage multiple tasks in a timely manner.
Be a self-starter and problem solver, ability to work individually and as a team member.
Experience:
Sign manufacturing experience required.
Forklift experience a plus.
Basic electrical (12v) & assembly knowledge.
High level of safety comprehension including PPE usage in manufacturing environment.
Ability to read and interpret work order documents and drawings.
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs. in a warehouse environment.
Hard working individual with good work ethics and integrity.
Bonus skills and experience:
Mechanical aptitude a huge plus.
Ability to follow oral & written directions.
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
This is a full-time, in-house entry position Monday – Thursday (10-hour shifts) and is benefits eligible after a 90-day period. Compensation will be determined based on experience and qualifications. OT may be awarded occasionally.
