We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Order Selector to join our team in a cold storage environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing orders for shipment while utilizing electric stand-on pallet jacks. This role requires a strong attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work efficiently in a temperature-controlled environment.
This facility is open 7 days a week and you will receive two scheduled days off weekly.
1st Shift: 1st Shift 4:30am - Completion, $13.00hr
2nd Shift: 1:30pm - Completion, $14.00hr
Key Responsibilities:
Order Selection: Accurately pick and assemble orders based on customer specifications using handheld scanners.
Pallet Jack Operation: Safely operate electric stand-on pallet jacks to move products throughout the warehouse.
Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring accuracy and organization of stock.
Quality Control: Inspect products for quality and report any discrepancies or damaged goods to supervisors.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while working in a cold storage environment.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow and meet daily targets.
Cleaning and Maintenance: Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, including equipment upkeep.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as an order selector or in a warehouse environment is preferred.
Equipment Proficiency: Experience operating electric stand-on pallet jacks or similar equipment is a plus.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in cold storage conditions (temperature range: 32-36 degrees.
Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order picking.
Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Able to pass a drug screen and background check.
