We are seeking Experienced Welders to join our rapidly growing welding and production team. A Welder is responsible for assembling pieces of metal together or repairing damage in metal components using heavy machinery that emits high heat, melting the metal into shape. Duties include reviewing blueprints, cutting metal into the appropriate shape and smoothing molten metal to remove creases. The successful Welder will ensure that projects are completed safely and accurately, and in a timely manner to meet stringent QA, ISO, customer and work order requirements.

Production positions may be assigned to either of the following full-time work schedules:

First Shift: Monday – Friday 5:00 am – 1:30 pm

Second Shift: Monday – Friday 1:30 pm – 10:00 pm

Job Duties:

Design optimal workflow by working with manufacturing engineering and fabrication departments for assigned weld projects

Expertly welds small, medium, and large components of various metals and alloys.

Read and comprehend technical drawings, blueprints, schematics

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Knowledge of metallurgy

Knowledge of various welding techniques, including GTAW TIG, MIG, and oxy-fuel welding

Knowledge of manual and mechanical welding techniques

Determining the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements

Setting up components for welding according to specifications

Document welding processes that meet engineering product requirements, quality standards, and safety requirements.

Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety and maintains responsibility for all tools and equipment assigned.

Demonstrate continued high-caliber performance and improvement to reduce errors. Scrap, waste to improve and reduce labor and material costs.

Coordinate work with multiple disciplines including engineering, designers, drafters, welders, and other production staff

Qualifications:

Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer. Sponsorship or visa transfers are not available at this time.

High school diploma, vocational school certificate, completion of a recognized craftsman apprenticeship program or equivalent education.

Fluency in English is required; additional language skills are a plus.

Must successfully pass a 6G Welding Assessment.

Minimum of 1 to 3 years of proven experience as a welder.

Professional welding certification (e.g., AWS) is highly desirable.

Prior experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, or machine shop environment.

Proficient in reading and interpreting technical documents and drawings, including WPSs, PQRs and WPQs.

Hands-on experience with various welding techniques and equipment (TIG, MMA, etc.).

Skilled in the use of both electrical and manual tools such as saws, calipers, and squares.

Familiarity with ASME codes and non-destructive testing (NDT) processes.

Solid understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and welding symbols.

Strong knowledge of safety standards and a commitment to using appropriate PPE (helmet, face shield, gloves, etc.).

Excellent technical communication and documentation skills.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Strong mechanical aptitude and keen attention to detail.

Self-motivated with the ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and shifting priorities.
