Administrative-Office Assistant

An IT Company in Houston TX, is looking for a qualified full-time Administrative-Office Assistant who will act as the backbone of our operations and accounting needs. This individual should be an excellent multitasker with exceptional communication and time management skills. The Administrative-Office Assistant should expect their job duties include but not limited to: Assisting staff, learning about Technology as a business, data entry, generating quotes and estimates, invoice processing, recording transactions, creating PO’s, tracking shipments, maintaining relationships with vendors, creating and implementing new operational procedures, ordering office supplies, receiving phone calls, preparing reports, etc. Social Media experience is a plus, so that they may be able to put our blogs, articles and company awards and information as required. Basic Bookkeeping knowledge will be considered an advantage. Candidate should be thorough, accurate, and honest with a great attention to detail, and have superior multitasking/communication skills. To be a successful Administrative-Office Assistant, you should have an understanding of basic Administrative principles and proficiency with computers and software, such as MS Office Suite, Excel and PowerPoint. The Candidate must be available M-F and must be able to lift 25-30lbs. The ideal candidate will be a progressive, someone, that embraces change and is willing to learn and grow within the company.
