We seek a qualified CPA, Enrolled Agent, or Tax Preparer experienced in filing federal and state Taxes sales tax for an S Corporation. The ideal candidate will have expertise in handling all S corporation tax obligations and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. This is for a local restaurant.
Requirements:
- Ability to prepare and submit all tax filings (federal IRS and Texas state sales tax) accurately and on time.
- Capable of handling and resolving any IRS issues or disputes that may arise, ensuring compliance and timely resolutions.
- Proven experience preparing and filing federal IRS and Texas state sales tax for S Corporations.
- Experienced Texas tax regulations and S Corp compliance.
- CPA, Enrolled Agent (EA), or relevant tax qualifications (does not need to be a CPA, but experience is essential; we can have a CPA review the filings).
- Proven track record with references or portfolio of past work.
- Knowledge of personal tax returns and ability to handle both business and individual tax filings.
- Perfect communication skills with the ability to explain complex tax matters clearly.
- Must be local to Houston and available for one initial in-person meeting, followed by monthly meetings (remote work otherwise). We might be open to full-time remote work but prefer local.
- Proactive and disciplined with strong attention to detail.
- Must be focused and able to meet all deadlines without supervision.
- Ability to submit a resume demonstrating relevant experience.
