Tax House Houston is hiring Entry-Level Tax Preparers for the upcoming tax season! This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in tax preparation while earning hourly pay plus commission.
Position Details
Start Date: January 5, 2025
Pay: $15-$20/hour + commission per accepted return
Schedule: Monday–Saturday
Employment Type: Full-time or Part-time
Location: Houston, TX
Responsibilities
Prepare individual tax returns accurately and efficiently
Interview clients to gather necessary tax information
Review documents for completeness and accuracy
Provide excellent customer service and explain tax outcomes clearly
Maintain confidentiality of client information
Stay up to date on basic tax laws and IRS guidelines
Qualifications
Must have or be able to obtain a PTIN
No prior tax preparation experience required (training provided)
Strong attention to detail and basic math skills
Customer-focused with strong communication skills
Reliable, professional, and able to work during tax season
Basic computer skills
