Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Records File Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, knowledge of medical terminology, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records by filing, retrieving, and organizing patient charts
Provide exceptional customer service by responding to patient inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
Perform administrative tasks, including faxing, copying, and emailing medical records and other documents
Answer phone calls and emails
Utilize knowledge of medical terminology to accurately identify and process medical records
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare procedures
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other software applications
