Production Scheduler

The Production Scheduler will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling production activities to ensure efficient operations and timely delivery of products. This role involves managing inventory, adjusting production schedules, and supporting various departments to maintain smooth workflow.

Main Responsibilities:

Email Management: Read and respond to emails promptly throughout the day to ensure effective communication.

Production Quantities: Review production quantities from the previous day to plan for current production needs.

Report Fulfillment: Complete and maintain inventory tracking files for all internally produced items for new production planning purposes.

Order Records: Update records with orders placed in ACUMATICA to ensure accurate inventory tracking.

Schedule Adjustment: Adjust production schedules based on the latest production and order information to meet demand.

Inventory Checks: Regularly check raw ingredient inventory and Work-In-Progress (WIP) inventory in cooler and freezer to ensure production runs on schedule are fulfilled.

Packing Schedule: Develop and manage the packing schedule to ensure timely product packaging and meet order fulfillment.

KPI Reporting: Prepare and submit Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports to track production efficiency.

Purchase Orders: Request PO numbers for operations through DOCUWARE or via web and coordinate their submissions with purchasing team.

Ingredient Requests: Request essential and special ingredients like bag flour, silo flour, chemical additives, as well as veggies, packaging material, proteins, etc. one month prior to production to allow delivery lead time.

Employee Engagement: Organize and participate in Employee of the Month activities to boost team morale.

Clerical Support: Assist various departments with clerical duties such as document creations, visual aids, PDF, Excel, Word or PowerPoint files, etc.

Requirements:

Bilingual – English and Spanish.

Basic knowledge of computer equipment, including electronic devices such as iPads, tablets, and digital equipment screens (Preferred).

Proven experience in production scheduling or a similar role in the food manufacturing industry (Preferred).

Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Proficiency in using inventory management software (e.g., ACUMATICA).

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work collaboratively with various departments.

Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
