Position: Sales Associate II
Hours: Monday - Friday: 7 AM - 6 PM; Saturday: 7 AM - 1 PM

M&M Hardware is a trusted local hardware store that’s been dedicated to providing Manvel-area customers with quality hardware products and exceptional service since 1984, alongside our sister company, Almeda Water Well Service. We pride ourselves on being a community staple here in Manvel, and we're looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team up front in the hardware store.
Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated Retail Sales Associate to assist customers and support general store operations. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for helping others and a basic knowledge of plumbing and hardware products.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers and assist them in locating products.
Provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience.
Maintain product displays and keep the store organized.
Process transactions accurately and efficiently.
Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment.
Answer calls, redirect calls, and/or take down messages from both M&M Hardware and Almeda Water Well Service customers.
General collaboration with team members from both M&M Hardware and Almeda Water Well Service.
Qualifications:
At least one (1) year of retail or customer service experience preferred, but not mandatory.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Fluency in Spanish would be a plus.
Basic knowledge of hardware and plumbing tools and supplies.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Must be able to lift and move products as needed. (Up to 90 lbs.)
Basic understanding of water well pumps and water well pump repair would be a plus, but not required.

Negotiable hourly wage, depending on experience. (Expect 15-20 hours OT per week.)
