Position: Quality Control Specialist
Location: REMOTE
Contract Length: Expected to go until end of 2022 ( 7-8 month contract) potential to extend further
Pay rate: $24/hr
Project Overview:
Our client has an in-house database workflow and process management system and are currently looking for Researchers/Editors to triage a backlog of records of assets, work orders, and other documentation as needed. This includes documentation of work completed in the field and was categorized incorrectly. The researcher/editor would work through those records via a ticketing system, validate what is possible, do additional research on items that need it, as well as edit, categorize and triage the information.
The Quality Control Specialist will be a point of escalation for the editing team and provide guidance for any more challenging edits. Further, our quality control specialists will be assisting with writing policy, process and spec documentation, automation efforts, and receive/provide trainings. Lastly, the quality control specialists will be tasked with working through more complex scenarios, or those that require more advanced research or GIS skills.
Description:
• Responsible for performing research and making system updates to improve data quality.
• Review process control reports to identify trends and/or errors, which could lead to lower data quality standards.
• Complete root cause analyses and develop responses necessary to address potential errors.
• Experience in Maximo/SAP; ESRI or AutoCAD; FileNet. Must have Natural Gas Utility and GIS experience.
