As a Biomed Tech, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and functionality of medical equipment used in patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and repairs on a variety of biomedical equipment including but not limited to infusion pumps, defibrillators, patient monitors, surgical equipment, surgery tables, hospital beds, stretchers, diagnostic imaging systems and any other equipment used in a hospital.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions promptly, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
Quality Assurance: Conduct inspections and performance tests to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and manufacturer specifications.
Documentation: Maintain detailed records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and service history, adhering to documentation protocols.
Training and Support: Provide training and technical support to healthcare staff on the proper use and maintenance of medical equipment.
Qualifications:
Degree or Certification in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, or related field.
Previous experience in biomedical equipment maintenance and repair preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with medical terminology and regulatory requirements.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
