About the Role
RideShare Carz is seeking a driven and experienced Buy Here Pay Here Team Lead to help grow and lead our expanding BHPH operation in Houston, Texas. The ideal candidate brings at least 3–5 years of proven success in BHPH automotive operations and is ready to take ownership of a large market, high-volume location focused on providing reliable vehicles and flexible lease-to-own solutions.
This individual will oversee the execution of sales, insurance and compliance requirements, vehicle readiness and service coordination, and the handoff experience to the customer. We're looking for a high-energy, fast-paced professional with the leadership and capacity to scale the Houston market to 50+ vehicles/month.
Key Responsibilities
Lead all daily operations of the BHPH location, including sales, collections coordination, insurance documentation, compliance, and customer delivery
Manage and motivate a local team (sales agents, support staff, vendors)
Ensure every customer interaction is handled with speed, professionalism, and regulatory accuracy
Oversee inventory readiness: coordinate with service, inspection, and reconditioning vendors
Execute insurance verification and contract preparation (lease/finance documents)
Maintain strict adherence to all Texas BHPH compliance standards
Serve as the point person for title/tag handling, repo coordination, and vehicle returns
Implement scalable workflows to support growth to 50+ vehicle transactions/month
Report key operational metrics to regional and executive leadership
Partner with marketing and customer service teams to drive leads and deliver results
Qualifications
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Buy Here Pay Here operations in a large market and high volume environment
Proven knowledge of sales execution, insurance requirements, collections processes, and state-level compliance
Excellent customer service, multitasking, and team leadership skills
Must thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, and customer-first environment
Knowledge of Texas dealer regulations, title & registration workflows, and vehicle documentation
Comfortable using CRM, DMS, or lease-tracking systems
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus but not required
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
