4 Canvassers Needed for the Greater Houston Metro area! $500-$1000/per week for 15-20 hours!
(This is a 1-time gig, but if you do well, you may be invited to do more weeks or join our consistent canvasser team)
The gig:
Hand out 200 postcards to local small businesses with the goal of them signing up for a free trial of our online reputation management platform. We’ve been in business for 5+ years and have signed up thousands of businesses across the country as a way to protect their Google rating and help drive customers to their business in person and online. Owners typically want what we have and love the idea of a way to protect their rating while driving sales. We don't typically get a ton of pushback from owners and since it's a completely FREE/Complimentary trial, it's a no brainer for owners.

You’ll get paid $20 for every trial that signs up through your efforts (they must complete a 10-minute onboarding call with our in-house team in order to get paid).
You’ll get paid an extra $30 for every business that chooses a paid subscription.
You get paid after the trial period has ended (7-10 days).
Here’s an average of what our canvassers have made…again, this is an average. Some are much better and follow-up, which moves many more to do trials and more sales—some just drop the card off and leave. You can do either. Here’s an example of what you can make if you're average:
- 200 cards to handout…it should take you around 15-20 hours to do this; owners simply follow a QR code, fill in 4 blanks and then we call to onboard them.
- 10% of the postcards choose a trialthat'd be 20 Trials onboarded (@$20 each, you would make $400)
- 25% of the trials choose a subscriptionthat'd be 5 Subscriptions sold (closed by our inside teamyou make $30 each, an additional $150 in this examplewith NO extra work or effort)
- That’d be a total of $550 you made in this example! That’s between $27.50 - $36.67/hour! If you do well, we’ll send you another 200 cards
- We also give production bonuses (i.e. …like an extra $100-200 for a high trial rate)
It's not uncommon to have some canvassers and salespeople get as many as 30 or more trials and 10+ sales from a simple 200 card run; if that’s you, then you’d make over $1,000 for the weeks workabout <20 hours worth of effort.
This is a one-time, 1099 opportunity where you get paid directly for the efforts you put in, but it is an ideal way to make some relatively easy side hustle money…$550/week or more! It can also continue if done well. It can also be done whenever—some businesses are best to visit in the evenings—others are better during the day, so you have complete flexibility to make it your own. If the gig goes well and you want to do it again, we will. If not, no harm donewe'll settle up and part as friends.
This is targeting a start date of No Later Than the week of Feb 10. Training will be virtual for about an hour (1-on-1) the week of Feb 3.

During your interview, you’ll be asked:
1. How many hours per week do you have to focus on this effort?
2. Why do you want to do it?
3. Have you ever done any kind of canvassing or sales job; if so, what did you do?
4. Do you have your own phone or tablet you can use to help owners sign up for a free trial? (Generally, you’ll use the owners phone, but you may need/want to show them something to help them sign up or sign them up through your phone). You will need a phone in order to let us know you’ve signed up a business (…so you get paid!)
This is a 1099 opportunity, meaning you’ll be responsible for your own expenses, including but not limited to taxes and expenses. You will be paid after their free trial period is over, which may be as much as 2 weeks after the initial sign-up week. If that’s a problem, this role isn’t for you. In other words, if you’re looking for quick cash this week, keep looking.
