We do "Fiber to the Home" residential fiber optic splicing work. Need Female who already has experience or wants to learn how to do fiber optic splicing and be assistant and trainee and work together with another Female Technician.
Sometimes requires night work or out of town, flexible schedule needed, and willing to do more than just splice sometimes. Sometimes need to drive out and map out jobs, deal with the public knock on door to access back yards, prepare cable and some possible computer paperwork training and work required.
Requirements: Own transportation, capable of working outside all day, (with umbrella for shade). Must be physically fit, capable of walking all day sometimes, also capable of riding a 4x4 ATV, getting on and off of it safely. Squatting down and standing up many times throughout the day, Carrying around 30 lbs for short distances sometimes.
This will not work for: people who are limited physically and cannot move fast and easily, and fit in tight and sometimes uncomfortable spaces for a few minutes at a time.
People who use drugs, are on long term drugs or drink alcohol on a frequent basis and are not mentally clear minded.
This will work for: Positive attitude and proper worth ethics. Good eyesight, physically able to do somewhat delicate work with hands similar to sewing. Physically fit. Mentally fit. Flexible schedule.
Pay based on experience, level of effort and skill gained and abilities gained.
