Job Title: Automotive Shop Technician
Location: Katy, TX
Job Type: Full-time: Mon-Fri 8am to 5pm, & Sat 8am - 2pm
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Automotive Shop Technician familiar with shop operations, and ensure high-quality service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair both mechanical and electrical, proven leadership skills, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities: (Resume without relative work experience will not be considered)
Mechanical, Electrical diagnosing & repairs: Drive train, power train, suspension, preventative maintenance and electrical.
Qualifications:
Conduct inspections and diagnostics to address complex repair issues.
Workflow management, and inventory control.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts usage, and labor.
Communicate effectively with service writer to explain repair needs and service recommendations.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in automotive repair.
ASE Certification or equivalent preferred.
Strong technical knowledge of automotive systems and repair procedures.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Preferred: Bilingual (spanish & english)
