Geotech Engineering and Testing is looking to hire a Construction Materials Field Technician.
No experience is needed, we offer on-the-job training but ACI, SB102 certifications are preferred. We also offer certification assistance. If you have prior experience in the Geotechnical/CMT field, it is a plus. The technician will be scheduled to various job sites/projects. Job description
Must be able to work in all-weather climates.
Assist Engineering Lab in testing and collecting concrete samples and soil samples.
Inspect, test, and measure materials for conformance to specifications.
Measure dimensions of products and verify conformance to specifications.
Record inspection and data, such as weights, temperatures, grades, or moisture content, and quantities inspected or graded, and locations.
Report with great details such as grade and acceptance-rejection status.
Other duties assigned by the Manager.
