Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both commercial and residential electrical systems, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work and ensuring safety. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in a variety of settings, and requires excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components in commercial and residential buildings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and standards.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems, providing effective solutions.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of electrical systems.
- Collaborate with other trades and contractors to complete projects efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
Qualifications:
- Valid Journeyman Electrician license.
- High school diploma or GED; additional technical training or certification is a plus.
- Minimum of [5] years of experience in both commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, blueprints, and local codes.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual labor tasks.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Work Environment:
- Work may be performed indoors and outdoors, in various weather conditions.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and materials.
- May require standing, bending, and kneeling for extended periods.
