We are looking for a lead carpenter to work on various remodeling and construction projects that we have coming up in the next year. The projects will be both residential and light commercial. Most of the work will be located in the Alvin/Pearland region, although there also will be jobs throughout the greater Houston area.

Administrative Requirements
-Minimum of 5 years working as a carpenter in a senior capacity
-A formal resume and work references
-Authorization to work in the US and a valid driver license
-Your own transportation, having your own truck is highly preferred
-Willingness to fill out an I-9 form and to be paid via direct deposit from our payroll system
Experience Requirements
-Rough framing
-Drywall installation
-Finished/trim carpentry
-Window and door installation
-Roofing and siding installation
-Demolition
-Capability to read and use blueprints
-Demonstrated track record of completing projects independently
-Proven ability to work well with a team, especially junior team members
Highly Preferred Experience
-Tile installation, including showers and waterproofing
-Flooring
-Taping/floating/texturing, general drywall repairs
-Interior and exterior painting
-Fencing
-Familiarity with commercial systems, including steel framing and grid/acoustic ceilings
-Experience hauling materials with trailers
Useful Experience
-Experience with basic electrical safety and maintenance items
-Minor plumbing repair/replacement experience
-Basic knowledge of HVAC systems
-Concrete/masonry
-Landscaping
-Low-voltage applications
-Appliance installation
-Construction machinery operation
