Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Lead Foreman to oversee field operations on multiple projects across the Houston area. This is a working foreman role—you’ll be hands-on in the field while leading and coordinating a crew of 5–8 painters and carpenters.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, supervise, and work alongside a team of 5–8 field crew members (painters & carpenters).
Perform and oversee installation of:
o Acoustical ceilings
o Drywall and framing
o Doors and frames
o Glass and metal systems
Read and interpret blueprints with accuracy.
Ensure quality control, safety, and adherence to project timelines.
Coordinate with project managers and superintendents on site progress.
Maintain safe, organized job sites.
Utilize technology such as tablets and Procore software when applicable.
Requirements
5+ years of commercial construction experience (including drywall, framing, ceilings, doors/frames, glass/metal).
2+ years in a leadership or foreman role.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Must provide own hand tools.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Ability to work Monday–Friday (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM), with at least one Saturday per month and overtime as needed.
Ability to travel between job sites across Houston and the surrounding area.
Preferred Skills (Plus)
Experience with Procore or similar construction software.
OSHA 10/30 or other safety certifications.
Spanish/English bilingual ability.
