We are dedicated to providing exceptional service and are seeking a Senior Restoration Technician who will lead on-site teams and manage restoration projects, while also serving as a working lead.
Job Responsibilities:
- Serve as the frontline and first responder for our company, setting the standard for rapid and effective response.
- Act as a working lead on residential and commercial jobs, ensuring high-quality execution and customer satisfaction.
- Direct on-site crews, providing clear guidance and leadership to achieve project goals.
- Perform water extraction and fire mitigation services both efficiently and safely.
- Prepare rooms and areas for work activities, including setting up staging areas and organizing equipment.
- Execute demolition tasks and general clean-up activities.
- Undertake heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, washing walls and glass, and removing debris.
- Operate and set drying equipment, complete moisture mapping to ensure thorough remediation.
- Monitor and ensure crew efficiency, guaranteeing that job requirements are met during each shift.
- Accurately record timekeeping for the crew, including breaks and lunch periods.
- Ensure precise charging of time and materials to each project.
- Maintain professional communication with customers, subcontractors, and insurance companies.
- Thoroughly document all job activities using the appropriate forms and complete them accurately.
Job Requirements:
- Proficient use of hand and power tools, ability to lift 50 lbs, and capable of occasional climbing, stooping, bending, and kneeling.
- Ability to work in various environmental conditions including heat, cold, and humidity.
- Basic computer literacy, familiar with MS Office, DocuSign, Zoom, and similar applications.
- Active participation in an on-call rotation for after-hours service calls.
- Valid Driver’s License required.
- High school diploma or equivalent; higher education or vocational training preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience in Fire Restoration.
- At least 2 years of experience in Mold Remediation and Water Mitigation.
- IICRC Certification(s) preferred but not required.
Compensation:
- Hourly Rate: $22 to $26, depending on experience.
- Overtime compensation at 1.5 times the normal rate for over 40 hours per week.
