We are seeking an experienced Manual Machinist to join our team in Stafford, TX. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manual machining, with the ability to operate lathes, mills, and other machinery to create high-precision components.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Set up and operate manual lathes, milling machines, and other manual machining equipment.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
Use precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and ensure accuracy.
Perform routine maintenance on machines, including lubrication and cleaning, to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following all safety protocols.
Work closely with engineers, designers, and other team members to ensure that machining processes meet project specifications.
REQUIREMENTS:
Must be physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs. without help.
Proven experience as a manual machinist, with a strong understanding of machining principles. +2 years of experience minimum.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Proficiency with measuring tools and quality control processes.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Experience in operating laser machines, press brakes and radial drill presses.
