Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair complex issues (engine control, electronics, ECU, ABS, emissions systems)
Perform scheduled maintenance, major repair work, drivability repairs
Mentor and train junior techs; act as technical resource
Recommend parts, maintain warranty documentation
Work with service advisor / parts / warranty teams to ensure quality & efficiency
Keep up with technical bulletins, continuing education
Required Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of automotive technician experience (dealership or equivalent)
Master-level or ASE Certification (at least in major areas)
Strong understanding of vehicle electronics, diagnostics, engine management systems
Comfort with scan tools, oscilloscopes, wiring diagrams, data logging, Identifix, All Data
Excellent problem-solving, communication, ownership mindset. Understanding and contributing to the success of a bhph service center model.
Preferred / Bonus Qualifications
Experience in a BHPH or used-car service environment
Hybrid / EV / high voltage systems knowledge
Experience training others or leading small tech teams
OEM-level certifications

Schedule
Monday–Friday standard shop hours (e.g. 8:30am am–6 pm). Occasional overtime/weekend work possible but shared fairly.
