Company in NW Houston is looking to add an experienced QC Inspector to their team. As a QC Inspector you will be responsible for ensuring that all threaded components meet strict specifications and quality standards. You will perform detailed inspections using precision measuring instruments and tools to assess the dimensions and tolerances of UN threads.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform dimensional inspections of UN threads using specialized measuring tools, such as micrometers, calipers, thread gauges etc.
Inspect incoming, in-process, and final products to ensure that they meet dimensional and tolerancing specifications.
Document and maintain accurate inspection records, including measurements, tolerances, and any deviations from required standards.
Perform visual inspections of threads for defects, including surface imperfections, misalignments, or any other quality concerns.
REQUIREMENTS:
Proven experience as a QC Inspector with a focus on dimensional inspection.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and product specifications.
Strong understanding of UN thread specifications, tolerances, and inspection techniques.
Proficient in using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and thread gauges.
