As a Sheet Metal Installer with PeopleReady Skilled Trades, you’ll support a well-established, mechanical construction company working at a hospital in the Medical Center in Houston, TX. In this temp to hire role, you’ll earn $23 to $26 an hour, enjoy weekly pay and health insurance benefits.
Hours: Monday – Friday, 6 am – 2:30 pm, with occasional OT
Responsibilities:
Review and interpret blueprints and schematics to install per specifications
Performed layout work, measuring, bending, and forming sheet metal in preparation for assembly
Hanging and Installing Commercial Duct & Installing Risers for HVAC Systems on a hospital
Select gauges and types of sheet metal or non-metallic material, according to product specifications
Perform Quality assurance inspections on all products to ensure conformance with product specifications
Performed tasks using occupation specific tools such as drills, rivet guns, die grinders, and common hand tools
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years experience as a Sheet Metal Mechanic or similar role
Position does require a drug screen
Position does require a background check
