We are a growing commercial construction company that is a leading provider of custom millwork solutions and cabinetry delivering high-quality products and exceptional service to our clients. We specialize in custom millwork, custom cabinets (including paint, stain, and laminate), and other complex installs such as wall panels, column wraps, acoustic wall tiles, ceiling tiles, etc. Our team is passionate about craftsmanship and innovation, and we are looking for an experienced millwork / carpenter to join our team.
Job Summary:
As a Millworker / Cabinet Maker, you will be responsible for creating custom cabinetry and millwork products according to specifications. You will work with a variety of materials, including wood, laminate, and composite products, while utilizing both hand tools and machinery. Your expertise will contribute to the overall success of our projects and the satisfaction of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials to create cabinets and millwork.
- Operate woodworking machinery, such as saws, planers, and routers, safely and efficiently.
- Sand, finish, and install cabinetry and millwork as per quality standards.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to ensure project timelines are met.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment and adhere to safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Millworker, Cabinet Maker, or similar role.
- Proficient in using hand tools and woodworking machinery.
- Strong understanding of woodworking techniques and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
- Good physical condition and stamina for manual labor.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in woodworking is a plus.
- US Citizenship
