We are seeking a Stator / Mud motor Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for the assembly, repair, and maintenance of stators for downhole drilling equipment.
Stator/Mud motor Technician RESPONSIBILITIES:
Inspect, test, and repair stator windings and associated components.
Disassemble, clean, and reassemble stator units according to manufacturing specifications.
Use hand tools, precision measuring instruments, and testing equipment to assess performance and troubleshoot issues.
Perform electrical insulation resistance tests and other diagnostic tests on stators.
Maintain detailed records of repair work, test results, and equipment conditions.
Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to ensure the quality and efficiency of repairs.
Follow all safety protocols and ensure the workplace is in compliance with safety standards.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and product quality.
Stator/Mud motor Technician REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Stator Technician or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of stator winding techniques and electrical principles.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Proficiency in the use of diagnostic tools, multimeters, and insulation resistance testers.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various conditions.
