Steel shop Welder is needed for a warehouse in Tomball, Texas for an Entry Level position.
Must have Welding Experience.
This is an entry level position but the basic Requirements for this position are:
High school diploma or equivalent
Willing to take a drug test in accordance with local law/regulations.
General knowledge of welding, pipe cutting, & plasma cutter.
Ability to read prints and follow instructions.
Previous experience is a plus but not required such as:
Machine operating
Manual Lathe
Forklift
Bilingual in English and Spanish
Strong Communication skills
The Primary Duties and Responsibilities for this position are:
Perform all tasks in a safe and responsible manner.
Complies with all quality policies, specifications, regulations, and instructions.
Performs required measurements using a tape measure, or other measuring devices.
Product assembly.
Performs all necessary adjustments to produce quality products.
Maintains equipment and a clean work area.
Sort, transfer, and stack on pallets containers of finished products.
Physical Requirements & Environmental Conditions
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close-up vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
The environment is a manufacturing environment with exposure to dust, solvents, vapors, moving mechanical parts, and moderate noise levels.
Requires frequent bending, standing, and walking throughout shift.
Must be able to push, lift and pull up to 50 lbs. repetitively during shift.
Requires standing and walking 100% of shift on a concrete floor.
