Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tree Climber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for tree care and a strong commitment to safety. As a Tree Climber, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tree care tasks, including tree pruning, tree removal, and emergency storm response.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Tree Climber or Arborist.
- Proficiency in climbing techniques and use of tree care equipment.
- Knowledge of tree biology, diseases, and proper pruning techniques.
- Strong understanding of safety practices and procedures in tree care.
- Physical fitness and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
- ISA Certification (preferred but not required).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities:
- Safely climb and work in trees of various heights and conditions.
- Perform tree pruning and trimming to ANSI A300 standards.
- Conduct tree removals, including dismantling and lowering limbs and trunks.
- Operate and maintain tree care equipment, including chainsaws, ropes, and harnesses.
- Perform ground support duties, including chipping and clean-up of debris.
- Assist with emergency storm response and tree damage assessments.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers.
