Tired of OTR work that keeps you out weeks or months at a time? Ready to drive for a carrier who primarily run Texas/Lousiana lanes? Our goal is to provide a CDL driver with consistent reefer loads that allows a driver to be home frequent while earning a competitive pay. Our team works hard to ensure the driver can call JKN Capital Freight a place they love to work. These positions are NOT local you are NOT home every night however you will be home on weekends!
Duties:
- Safely and efficiently operate a tractor-trailers
- Transport reefer loads from shipper to customer
- Follow specific routes and delivery schedules.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on vehicles.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage.
Requirements:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
- 2 years driving experience
- Tanker endorsements & Twic card required
- Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents.
- Proven experience in route driving and operating various types of trucks.
- Ability to safely secure freight.
- Familiarity with automatic transmission vehicles.
- Experience with refrigerated trailers
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Must provide professional references
