Cafe Natalie Catering is a premier, full-service catering company specializing in upscale events, weddings, and corporate gatherings. We are looking for dedicated part time Event Chefs to join our team and help execute our high-quality dining experiences.
Responsibilities:
-Load inventory, food, and equipment into a box truck for transportation to event locations.
-Drive and operate a box truck safely (valid driver’s license required).
-Set up mobile kitchens and cook in on-site conditions, including hot and cold environments.
-Prep, cook, set up, and serve meals for events, including: Buffet service, Family-style service, Station-style service, Plated service
-Work collaboratively with the event team to ensure smooth and high-quality service.
-Follow all food safety and sanitation regulations.
-Break down event setup and load all items back onto the truck at the end of the event.
-Drive back to the warehouse and unload all equipment and supplies from the event.
-Lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
Requirements:
-Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a box truck.
-Culinary experience is a plus! (catering, banquet, or restaurant experience preferred).
-Ability to work in hot and cold conditions and cook in mobile kitchens/trucks.
-Strong work ethic and ability to work long shifts (12-14 hours).
-Dependable and able to work weekends and evenings.
-Must be physically able to lift 50 pounds and perform active job duties.
