Primary responsibilities of a Lead Dispatcher Flatbed Division include (but are not limited to): Dispatch truck drivers for pick-ups at customer locations, local ports, and railroads Confirm proper bookings and billings to meet customer requirements Enter data in the computer for planning and general information Provide necessary communications to the terminal regarding specific customer requests Be willing to work extended hours to meet and exceed customer needs Skills: Knowledge of DOT regulations and Safety Compliance Familiarity with DOT safety compliance Thrives off working in a high paced environment Ability to prioritize/multitask Computer Savvy Requirements: High School Diploma or GED Experience in the trucking and/or intermodal transportation industry.
