Bayou Movers, a reputable moving company, is seeking qualified individuals to join our team as Moving Foreman and Helper. As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth and efficient moving services for our clients.
Responsibilities:
Foreman Duties:
Supervise and lead a team of movers during relocation projects.
Plan and organize moving schedules, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
Oversee loading and unloading of goods with precision and care.
Ensure proper packing techniques to prevent damage during transportation.
Address and resolve any on-site challenges or issues that may arise.
Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive team dynamic.
Helper Duties:
Assist the Foreman in executing moving plans.
Load and unload furniture and belongings with attention to detail.
Safely transport items to and from the moving truck.
Pack and unpack items in accordance with company standards.
Collaborate with the team to ensure a seamless moving process.
Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with clients.
Requirements:
Foreman:
Proven experience as a moving foreman or similar role.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Knowledge of proper packing and moving techniques.
Excellent problem-solving abilities.
Ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients.
Helper:
Previous experience in moving or physical labor roles preferred.
Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
Detail-oriented and able to follow directions accurately.
Team player with a positive attitude.
Good communication skills.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Additional certifications in moving or related fields are a plus.
