Logistics Broker seeking a Full-Time HOTSHOT Dispatcher to work in our office in North Houston.
Hotshot trucking dispatch experience is preferred but will consider other candidates.
This IS NOT a remote position.
MUST live within 15 mins from I-45 and Cypress Creek Pkwy
BILINGUAL AND FLUENT IN BOTH ENGLISH AND SPANISH REQUIRED
You MUST be able to quickly read and thoroughly comprehend ENGLISH.
This is non-negotiable for this position.
We broker a very HIGH VOLUME of HOTSHOT loads.
HOTSHOT = Quick-Fast-Hurry
You MUST be able to multi-task. Think talking on the phone while reading and responding to emails.

Responsibilities:
This position will dispatch truck drivers for loads provided by our Customers and provide necessary communications to complete the task. FOLLOW-UP SKILLS ARE IMPERATIVE.
Candidates must be computer literate and possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
YOU MUST BE A MULTI-TASKER
Job Requirements:
● Schedule Monday - Friday - Full-Time - 40 hours +
(Specific hours to be determined based off needs of office coverage needs.)
This IS NOT a 9-5 job. Our office is open 7:00 am - 7:00 pm
You must be available to work during these hours as needed.
Must have "THICK SKIN"
Primary Job Focus:
● Dispatch Carriers to satisfy Customer loads and ensure the loads are delivered on time every time.
Constant communication and coordination with the drivers required with every load.
● 99% of the day is spent on the phone answering a HIGH VOLUME of calls.
● Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while under pressure is a MUST.
● Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize.
● Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
● Strong organizational and planning skills.
● Proficiency in MS Office
Compensation:
● Salary = Hourly Pay Starting at $16.00
